The air of dignified country church is helped by having its own graveyard around it, a circumstance that is fairly uncommon in New York (overall, fewer than 20 churches in the city have their own graveyard).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The spire was added in the 1870s, and is a great addition to the dignity and visibility of this church.
